Some practitioners like to use this test upon intake, but I like to utilize this test when necessary to save you money and not go searching for problems that aren’t causing symptoms. I like to match lab results to symptoms. Each person has their own unique bio-individuality, and that includes their bio-individual-microbiome. Treating someone's labs back to normal ranges as part of “standard intake procedures” might have someone feel terrible because where they were was their normal. Sometimes a simple blood test will tell us all we need to know, but when blood labs come up normal, and doctors tell you it is all in your head. That is when we need to dig deeper to find the source of what makes you feel unwell!
